For you to start earning money online, you at least need a verified Paypal account so you would be eligible to get paid by all online money-making programs that pay through Paypal. However, to verify your account with Paypal, you either need a credit card or a debit card. But, I found out through a friend that Filipinos can now actually verify their Paypal account using SmartMoney.

This is great news for Pinoys like me who are making money online and are using Paypal as their main payment processor. Plus, getting your own SmartMoney card is very easy since you won't have to worry about submitting any financial documents or annual fees, unlike when you apply for a credit card.

Now, let me show you how you can verify your Paypal account with SmartMoney. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message, ok?

Get your own SmartMoney account/card.


This is only open to Smart subscribers, obviously. First of all, make sure you check with Smart helpdesk/customer service if your Smart SIM can be used for SmartMoney. I've heard from other Smart subscribers that some older SIMs and even new ones need to be upgraded before they can use SmartMoney.

You can get a SmartMoney account and card through any Smart Wireless Center OR you can apply online by filling up this online application form and just follow the instructions. You need Php 30.00 for the processing fee & the card, PLUS at least Php 200.00 to load on your SmartMoney account, which would be used when you start verifying your Paypal account. You'd get it back, don't worry.

You must be aged 12 years or older to be eligible for a SmartMoney account. Also, you need to submit a photocopy of a valid ID when you go to the Smart Wireless Center for the application.

If you applied through a Smart Wireless Center, you can choose if you would like to receive the card through snail mail or if you'd want to just claim it through any Smart Wireless center you prefer.

If you applied online, you will receive a call from a Smart rep informing you that your card is ready for pickup and just advise them where you'd want to pickup the card. When you go pick up the card, that's when you'll pay the Php 30.00 processing fee.

After receiving your card, make sure you activate it using the Smart menu on your phone.

Very convenient, eh? Now, remember that you need to deposit money to your SmartMoney account before you can use it to verify your Paypal account because you'll be charged at least $3.00 for linking your SmartMoney account to Paypal and verifying your Paypal account. Don't worry, though, because you'll get back the $1.95 in 2-5 days. So, just load your SmartMoney card at the Smart Wireless center or from loading centers that sell SmartMoney balance. I suggest you load at least Php 200.00.

How to Activate your Smart Money?

Option 1: Key-word Based
i. Type in MONEY and Send it to 343
ii. Subscriber will receive a prompt to enter desired W-PIN.
iii. Re-enter W-PIN and Press OK.
iv. Choose ‘Get Account’ press OK
v. Subscriber will receive a confirmation message with his Smart Money Account.
vi. Subscriber will receive a confirmation message that W-PIN has been set and Menu will be
updated.

Option 2: Menu Based
i. Go to SMART MENU and select SMART MONEY
ii. Choose any transaction.
iii. Subscriber will receive a prompt to enter desired W-PIN.
iv. Re-enter W-PIN and Press OK.
v. Choose ‘Get Account’ press OK
vi. Subscriber will receive a confirmation message with his Smart Money Account.
vii. Subscriber will receive a confirmation message that W-PIN has been set and Menu will be
updated.

Link/Add your SmartMoney account to your Paypal Account.

You have to make sure you follow the steps below to prevent any problems when you link your SmartMoney account to your Paypal account:

Ensure Internet transactions are unlocked on your SmartMoney account.

To do this, go to your Smart menu and open SmartMoney. There should be "Internet Txns" menu option there. If you don't see it anywhere, you can call SmartMoney helpdesk and request for that menu to be activated OR text "internet" (without the quotes) and send to 343. This should activate the Internet Txns menu on your Smart menu.

If Internet Txns is already available, select that and choose Unlock and pick your SmartMoney card name. You'll be asked to enter your PIN. Wait for the confirmation that Internet transactions are unlocked then proceed to the next step.




Enter SmartMoney Account details to Paypal.

Login to Paypal and click on the Get Verified link on the main page of your account.



Fill up all the information on the next page using your SmartMoney card number, expiration date, etc.



Wait for Confirmation from Paypal.
You should receive a text message from Smart that says EXPUSE and it includes a code that looks like "P*####". The 4 numbers actually is the confirmation code you need to enter on your Paypal account to finish the verification process.

Enter the Confirmation Code to Paypal.
Now, before you can do this, you HAVE to unlock Internet Txns again through your Smart menu. Remember that Smart locks your SmartMoney account after every online transaction.
Once you've unlocked it, go back to your Paypal account page and enter the confirmation code that you received. You should receive a confirmation message that your Paypal account has been verified.


That's it! Easy, right? Now, you have a verified Paypal account.

Guide For Starters

Choose a time of day that you can click ads and eventually manage your referrals at the same time everyday.

Click all available ads everyday (when you get referrals this is necessary to earn from referral clicks).

Utilize all free methods of advertising to gain any direct referrals. Talk it up with your friends and relatives. Put a tagline on your e-mail signature. Post in forums. Use free traffic exchanges.

Buy your first pack of 3 at $1 (first and second pack discounted at 75 cents) you will have 25 cents left to recycle inactive. You should be making around 8 cents a day (I say around because Autopay subtracts Half a cent from your each of your refs, sometimes there are more than 4 clicks a day, and you have your own clicks too) because 4 clicks a day, $0.005 a click from a referral, 4 clicks – 1 click (autopay) = 3 clicks x $0.005 = $0.015 x 3 refs = $0.045 + your 4 clicks/cents = $0.085

(“As soon as you rent your first 3 referrals turn autopay on. Referrals cost 30 cents a month to keep. Instead of you paying for the referral, they pay for themselves as long as you have autopay turned on. What it does it subtract one of the advertisements your referral views each day and puts it towards the 30 cents that referral needs to stick around for another month. So you get half a penny less from each referral, but they will be your referral as long as they are active.”)

-After a week of buying your first 3 refs you should have around $0.845 ($0.085 x 7 = $0.595 + 25 cents leftover) now wait another week maintaining and clicking.

-Now you should have around $1.44 ($0.845 + $0.085 x 7 = $1.44) spend it on another pack of 3 and you should have $0.69 left, enough to recycle or anything else needed. Now you’ll have 6 refs making you $0.09 + your own clicks 4 = $0.13 (a day) Now just maintain your refs and let your money build a bit for a week (you are limited to buying 1 pack of refs a week).

-In a week you should have around $1.60 (don’t worry if you have a less than that because you had to spend some). Now buy a pack of 3 again, packs of 3 now cost 90 cents since the discount is over. Now you should have $0.70, but 9 referrals making you $0.135 + your 4 clicks = $0.175 or 17.5 cents a day. Wait a week and maintain refs and clicks.

(>After your first 2 ref packs the packs go back to standard price. 90 cents -per pack of 3, $3 – per pack of 10, $6 per pack of 20, $9 per pack of 30, $15 per pack of 50, $21 per pack of 70, and $30 per pack of 100.)

-By now you should have $1.925, buy another pack of 3. $1.925 – $0.70 = leaving you with $1.225. 12 refs making you 0.18 + your clicks = $0.22 a day do as usual, maintaining refs, clicks, etc.

-You probs have $2.765 ($0.22 x 7 days + leftover 1.225 = $2.765) buy another pack of 3. Which leaves you at $1.865, 15 refs making you $0.225 + your 4 clicks = $0.265 a day. Wait till next week etc.

-You now have $3.72 ($1.865 + 0.265 x 7 = $3.72) Buy a pack of 3 AGAIN. ($3.72 – $0.9 = $2.82) 18 refs making you $0.27 + ur 4 clicks = 0.31 a day Wait till next week and all that crap

-By now you have gotten $2.17 from your 18 refs + you previous total of $2.82 = giving you a new total of $4.99, Now buy a pack of 10! Finally… You have 28 refs making you $0.42 + 4 clicks = $0.46 a day. Don’t forget to recycle inactive and turn on autopay. Wait a week clicking and keeping your refs. Oh yeah and you have $1.99 left from buying the 10 pack. At least I hope you do.

-You got $5.21 (might have less from recycling)($0.46 x 7 + $1.99 = $5.21) buy a pack of 10. Left: $2.21, you got 38 refs now making you $0.57 + 4 clicks = $0.61 Wait a week doing the regular stuff.

-You have $6.48 in your little pigybank now buy another pack of 10. Left with: Around $3.48 | 48 Refs making you $0.72 + your 4 cents = $0.76 Regular stuff

-What you have: $8.80 Buy a pack of 10 Leaving you with: $5.80, 58 refs + you making $0.91 a day. Wait til next week

-What you have: $12.17 Buy a pack of 20 Leaving you with $6.17, 78 refs + you making $1.21 a day. Wait once again

-What you have: $14.64 Buy a pack of 20 Leaving you with: $8.64, 98 refs + u making $1.51 a day. Wait until next week

Now each of your referrals clicks are worth a whole cent and you get 6-10 ads a day (I think). You have left from buying Gold: 114.61 Buy a pack of 100 Leaving you with $84.61, 598 refs + u making around $18 a day because 3 clicks a ref (autopay) x 1 cent = $0.03 a referral x 598 = $18.

Keep buying packs by the 100′s until u reach 2000 but make sure you’ll have enough to recycle all of it + your current referrals too.

Once at 2000 you’ll be making $60 a day. Always leave a good amount on money, I’d say enough to recycle all your refs ($160) in your account as a precaution.

I Guess that you will be able to achieve all this and reach 2000 refs in 10 MONTHS lol (Each dash = a week, from 600 refs to 2000 refs will take 14 weeks, the first paragraph is a month by itself, and 2 weeks build up to get gold.)

TIPS: Always check if a referral is active, if not RECYCLE THEM for 8 cents! You will loose money if you don’t. Just because you complete 4 clicks, DOESN’T mean there aren’t any more clicks that day. Sometimes there are 1-3 more clicks!.
